It might just be Google ads targeting me, but your main page has www.drugfreeworld.org ads on it. "They said weed wouldn't lead to harder drugs.. THEY LIED."
Irony at its finest. I love it.
Keep up the good work.
PL: So far as I've seen, weed will actually keep you AWAY from harder drugs. I'd have probably been a bit more successful as a young man if I'd have hung out with stoners. Keeps you calm in those formative years where culture's telling you to get all fidgety. Some of the most successful people I know are closet weed nuts. People would be shocked how many lawyers smoke it to calm down. The prohibition's so silly.

"Res ipsa loquitur"
Why do I envision that emblazoned on a t-shirt and then stretched across the ample breasts of a filthy whore who thought that somehow marrying that latin phrase with her massive tits was anything other than painful irony. PIZZA! PIZZA!
PL: Because you've probably seen exactly that? Latent recollections bubbling up from the portion of the brain usually reachable only with aid of Jagermeister and Red Bull?
On the other point, indeed. Well, unless she's unibreasted.
In either case, hand her another $20 and have her peel the damn shirt off.

im a huge Iowa fan and that game was...awesome. But really, i just bought your book and its making me reexamine my job and my drinking. i cant do any drugs now because i dont feel like getting kicked out of the Navy, but rest assured, When i get out in a few years, your book will be used for rolling jays, packing bowls and probably some lines too. the crushing realization that i can only be happy at work when i smell like a pine tree air freshener or a distillery is something im still trying to deal with. and i just turned 23. real eye opener.
PL: I'm sure it was. After the opening 79 yd pass play I had real hope. After the safety, it started looking like the bowl game against USC. Iowa's had Paterno's number for years now, though, so I can't say I was surprised. Particularly given PSU's pre-season #1 ranking. Penn State, OSU and USC will always find a way to take a super-loaded team to a one or two loss season. Never fails.
As to the rest, you can be happy at work. In fact, you can work a deal where you'll never "work" at all. All you have to do is find a way to get paid to do something you enjoy.

Nice article. I've been there and done that with #s 1,4,5,6 and 7.
p.s: Don't you just love Bitter Laywer? Half the fun is all the bickering which goes on in the comments. Gotta love the guy lawyers (stereotyped by BL1Y)and the gal lawyers (stereotyped by Alma Federer). And then you have me (EngineerdLawyer) who likes to add some fuel to spice it up a bit.
PL: BitterLawyer's the best legal site out there right now. Abovethelaw is an excellent source of news, but BL scores great interviews and the emphasis stretches beyond law, into entertainment, sports, etc... And those commenters are great. Where most comment sections devolve into angry, sniping trolls flaming one another, BL attracts a group who make fun of one another in a more creative, entertaining fashion (even if a good bit of that is by accident). It's a lot like the comments here. I've never had to deal with trolls, and the policy here is all comments get posted, even the meanest attacks on me or other commenters. Credit to the readers.
