They have so many great songs that just rock your shit and are unforgiving. Specially, The Final Alarm, that song is amazing and only the beginning of what their music is all about. If we're going to talk about drummers I have to say that yes I agree with Charlie Watts as an underrated drummer but I have to put in Danny Carey from Tool. I dont know if you listen to Tool but they are a fucking phonemail band. Randomly if we're talking about bands I must say that the new Black Key album is the shit. Listening to it while lounging by the beach getting toasted with a nice night cap of William Larue Weller bourbon. Clearly you went to school during a much better era (ten years makes a hell of a difference). I remember my roommate putting that Woodstock version on during someone's birthday party once at our townhouse sophomore year and a bunch of girls asking snobbishly, "Uhm, like, what is this?" I think he made the mistake of turning off "Call on Me" or something. It was a truly depressing moment. One thing I must say about "S.S." is that, no matter what your substance of choice, that songs sounds equally good...whether it's weed, booze, coke, shrooms, etc., it just fucking works. I've watched that video from Woodstock at least fifty times, and I still can't figure out what the one naked dude in the middle is doing holding a sheep. It always makes me laugh.
